Guide for Authors

HUJE has the following requirements and formats for manuscript submissions for consideration:

Manuscript Submission components:

The researchers are required to follow the following steps in preparing their manuscripts for submission:

Cover page details:

On the first page, the researcher is expected to include the following in a separate cover page:

 

  • The title of the research
  • The name of the researcher(s) and their affiliations
  • Abstract in English (with a minimum of 250 words and maximum of 300 words) followed by keywords
  • Keywords from 3 to 6 words
  • Full contact information of the corresponding author
  • Order of content

The researchers are required to adhere to the following order in writing their research manuscript:

  • Introduction
  • Research Problem
  • Research hypotheses (if any)
  • Scope of Research
  • Importance of the research
  • Research objective
  • Previous studies, prior-arts
  • The research itself
  • Results and recommendations
  • References
  • Appendices (if any)

Manuscript paper layout and dimensions:

  • Research papers are printed on a single column.
  • The research is written on A4 paper size, and should be presented in Prorate layout as much as possible, however, Landscape can be used only in an as-needed basis.
  • The font should be Time New Roman.
  • Headings of articles in boldface size (16) and subheadings in boldface size (14) in English
  • Headings and subheadings in English, are in bold
  • Abstract at the beginning of the research in boldface size (12) English
  • Footnotes are allowed, size (10).
  • Margins: top 1 cm, bottom 1 cm, right 0.75 cm and left 0.75 cm.
  • The distance between lines is 1.15 per paragraph.
  • A summary in English at the end of the research, using sthe ame font size.

Tables and Figures:

  • Give a number to each table or figure caption.
  • Give a title at the top of each table in 12-point font size.
  • Give a title at the bottom of each figure in 12-point font size.
  • Mention the name of the source on which the researcher relied to obtain the data contained in the figure or table (if not done by submitted manuscript authors).

Mathematical equations:

Equations should be numbered sequentially and typed using the equation editor.

References Style:

Follow the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) reference style. For example:
